Matthew has been playing at a variety of occasions for ten years now, and since graduating from university in 2006, has been entertaining guests at weddings, birthdays, parties etc, on a regular basis.
He plays piano most weekends at Embers of Haworth, a popular contemporary restaurant, and through doing so has learnt how to play to his audience. Starting out with classic jazz standards and easy listening favourites, he also slips in a few pop, rock and classical numbers to suit the atmosphere or occasion.
Matthew has played at functions both as a soloist, and with a small band, consisting of vocals, keyboard and drums. So whether you are looking for a lively set from a quality band and singer for a birthday or wedding party, or if it is a subtle piece of background piano music at a wedding reception or christening, all your musical tastes and needs will be catered for.
In order to create the perfect repertoire for his clients, Matthew has an extensive list of songs that can be emailed or posted through. This allows his clients to select their favourite numbers so he can put together personlaised set lists to make the occasion extra special.
